Habwrecked 2010 has finally opened Applications. Will you be participating in one of Habbo UK's biggest events?
Last week, many Habbos wrote out their applications to become 'Volunteers' for Habwrecked 2010. Sadly, only approximately 10% of those Habbos were accepted.
Habbo UK closed The Great Port of Habbo recently, as a storm has been brewing and it is a safety hazzard for those Habbos who planned on setting sail from The Great Port. Though, the 10% who were accepted have the rights to access The Great Port, as they are strong, bold and fearless.
ANYBODY can go visit and fill out an application form to be a contestant. All you have to do is visit The Great Port and watch Habbo Live, if you are not one of the volunteer's, then the application form will appear soon!
+ Applications for this years Habwrecked will close on Sunday the 14th of March '10. Make sure you apply if you are a part of the lucky 10%!
ADDITIONAL RULES: (Direct from Habbo UK Articles)
During 'Habwrecked 2010' contestants will be playing on their main account. At any time through-out the campaign your account may be permanently banned and/or deleted from the service as a consequence of losing the game / failing to win (find out more >). Details will be made available through-out the competition and you will be warned of such eventualities.
If chosen as a contestant, you hereby release Habbo/Sulake from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft, or loss suffered in connection with this competition or the use or acceptance of the prize or any portion thereof. No compensation or cash refund will be payable. A ban will not be recinded and deletion of an account will be irreversible.
If the applicant is under 18, they must have consent from their parent or legal guardian to pass this stage, who will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to be bound by them on your behalf when entering this competition.
By submitting your application to become a contestant on Habwrecked 2010 you hereby waive any and all so-called “moral rights” or any similar right that you may have or hereinafter acquire in the entry and all its content (including without limitation any rights under sections 77-85 inclusive of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (as amended from time to time).
Sulake's decision is final in every situation, including any not covered in these terms and conditions. No correspondence will be entered into. If you do not fully understand any of the clauses herein, or require further details please speak to a responsible parent or legal guardian.
Please Note: You need to complete the application form in full and Sulake does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet or otherwise.

Ever wanted to choose what Club Furniture? Ever wanted to choose when to receive your gift?
Well, you'll be glad to know that Habbo have now given you the chance to choose what gift you receive.
Instead, you will receive a gift point for every month you are a member of Habbo Club, and therefore the points will be added up. However, each piece of Furniture costs a different amount, so you can't receive a gift that costs 5 points, when you only have 4 points.
Simple?

I would like to welcome back my dear friend mrbrownlow to Habbowow and its Media Department. It is an honour for myself to be working alongside him again, just like we used to.
mrbrownlow is the newest member to my, soon to be, elite team. As well as this, mrbrownlow and myself will be working closely together to bring you News from Habbo UK, US, CA & AU. To make Habbowow's News at it's highest quality, just like it used to be before maintenance in October '09.

The goregous Gabriella Cilmi will be visiting Habbo Hotel for a Live Chat on Wednesday 10th of March from 4pm.
Habbo Hotel tries to bring you as many celebrity faces as possible! The staff go through a LOT of effort to make these events happen for all of you, so will you be there? Wednesday 10th of March is the day you can talk to Gabriella Cilmi at the Club Mammoth Public Room. Be prepared with your questions, as I am sure she will be happy to answer them! I know what I'm going to ask her: "So Gabriella, what is sweet about you?"
As you may know, Gabriella Cilmi became an international star with her single 'Sweet About Me', which sold over two million copies worldwide.

Once again, Habwrecked has returned to Habbo UK! Farewell the Ducks and the Otters, hello to the Sharks, Jellyfish and Killer Whales. This year, Habwrecked is going to be nastier, tougher and a lot more competitive. A storm is brewing over the Habwrecked Island, do you think you can withstand it?
This time around, you really will have to be brave because your account is on the line! Some contestants will be permanently banned for life. Though you will be warned before applying, but from there on it is a massive gamble.
Like always, there will be chances for those who do not become contestants to win themselves Badges, Furni etc.. But, is the gamble of losing your account the thrll you require to participate as a contestant?
